We would love for your group to join us for the annual Queen City Youth Conference taking place in the summer of 2017! The QCYC, hosted by Laurel Baptist Church and Pastor Jonathan Blankenship, takes place in the Queen City of Charlotte, NC. This year we are excited that the entire event will take place in the conference center of the host resort, The Great Wolf Lodge. Youth groups will hear powerful preaching, lodge at the area's premier destination resort, have hours of private use of a giant indoor waterpark, and much more! Rooms are limited and the conference will fill up quickly, so be sure to register your group as soon as possible.

All groups attending stay at one of Charlotte's most elaborate destination resorts, The Great Wolf Lodge. Every room is a spacious family suite that sleeps up to six people. The Great Wolf Lodge boasts a massive indoor waterpark that serves as its main attraction. The Queen City Youth Conference provides hours of private waterpark usage on both Tuesday and Thursday nights following the evening preaching services. In the summer of 2008, Jonathan Blankenship became the pastor of Laurel Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. Through a focus on expository preaching, corporate prayer, and personal evangelism God has used him to help raise up a faithful, Bible-believing church in the "Queen City." Jonathan's preaching is practical, transparent, and saturated with God's Word.
Jake Potter grew up in North Texas at Temple Baptist Church in Flower Mound under Pastor Richard Wallace. He was saved and called to preach at a young age. Although he struggled with his calling and direction throughout his teenage and early college years, the Lord worked in his life in a great way. At 23, he surrendered to the Lord and God changed his life. After serving at Rosedale Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland under Pastor Scott Tewell for twelve years, Jake became the pastor of Eufola Baptist Church in Statesville, NC in February of 2016.
John Anderson became the pastor of Pinecrest Baptist Church in McDonough, GA in July 2013. From 2008 to 2013 John was a church planter in London, England where he successfully planted the Chelsea Community Baptist Church. John has also served as an assistant pastor and spent many years in evangelism. God has used John mightily for many years has he has faithfully preached the truth of Jesus Christ.
Tate Throndson has been a faithful man of God for many years. Upon graduating from Pensacola Christian College he traveled in evangelism as a representative for the school for two years. For the next sixteen years he served faithfully as a youth pastor and assistant pastor. In 2007 he surrender to God's call to pastor and planted the Castleview Baptist Church in Castlerock, Colorado where he and his family still serve today.
